Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is a Paris-based, globally operating and acknowledged, leading press freedom watchdog and human rights NGO. With our advocacy- and solutions-driven approach we advance the safety of journalists, the informational self-determination of every individual and a healthier polity overall.

To further strengthen our Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI), we are recruiting a

Junior Business Development Manager, North America (f/m/d)



Reporting to the Head of Outreach and Development, duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Implementing marketing strategy and activities to enhance awareness and usage of the JTI tools in the United States of America and Canada;

- Customer relations and support;

- Participation in collaborative team efforts and active contribution to the further development of the JTI overall.

 

We expect the following profile of candidates:

- BA or equivalent in economics, marketing or related;

- Minimum of two years of professional experience in digital services sales, preferably in the field of media, entertainment, advertising or journalism;

- Professional fluency in English is a must, additional languages – French and Spanish in particular – are a plus;

- Intercultural sensitivity and curiosity, committed to do-no-harm principle;

- Permitted to work in the USA, preferably based in Washington D. C.
